Terms of Use
In short
- Sweekly is a free game for building habits with friends. During the beta it is a test: things change, break and get fixed.
- Be fair: no faking proof, no cheating in leagues, no nasty names.
- Candy, chocolates and white chocolate are points in a game. They have no money value and cannot be sold or moved.
- Sweekly is not medical advice. Look after yourself.
- You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that break these rules.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Sweekly ("we"). By ticking "I agree" at sign-up, you accept them and the Privacy Policy. Contact: support@sweekly.app.
2. Who can use Sweekly
- You must be 18 or older.
- During the beta, a new account works only after it redeems an access code from us (a friend may pass one on).
- One account per person. Keep access to your email and your Apple or Google sign-in safe: whoever has them can use your account.
3. The beta
Sweekly is in a free test phase. Features, rules and prices may change, some activities are not live yet, and there will be bugs. We may pause the beta or end it. Leagues reset once when Sweekly opens to the public. Tell us what breaks: support@sweekly.app.
4. Candy and the game
- You earn 1 candy for each verified activity a day, plus bonuses the rules describe in the app. The server counts every candy; if it made a mistake, we correct it with a new entry.
- Candy, chocolates and white chocolate are game points. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, traded or moved to anyone else, and cannot be exchanged for anything outside Sweekly.
- The rewards in your Candy Shop are treats you give yourself. Sweekly does not deliver them.
- If you delete your account, your candy and everything else goes with it and cannot be brought back.
5. Proof and fair play
Ready-made activities count only with their proof (a timer and the phone's motion sensor, or photo checks taken in the app). You agree not to:
- fake proof: old or borrowed photos, a photo of a screen, another person doing the activity, shaking the phone to look like walking;
- use bots, scripts, modified apps or several accounts to win;
- use a bug to gain candy or places; tell us instead.
We may refuse a collect that fails its check, remove candy or league places won unfairly, and move or remove someone from a league.
6. Names, cheers and other players
Your nickname, pod names and cheer messages must follow the nickname rules shown in the app: no insults, slurs, sexual or drug words, no reserved names such as "Sweekly" or "admin", and no links, @handles, emails or long numbers. Do not pretend to be someone else or advertise. Be kind in cheers. You can report or block anyone; we look at reports within a day. We may hide a name, remove a message or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Sweekly characters in leagues are labelled; they are not real people.
You keep what you write. You let us store and show it inside Sweekly to the people the Privacy Policy names, only to run the game.
7. Your health
Sweekly is a game, not medical, fitness or health advice. Choose activities that are safe for you, stop if something hurts, and ask a doctor if unsure. Never use the app while driving or where looking at your phone is unsafe.
8. Our app
Sweekly, its name, look, mascot, characters and code belong to us. You may use the app for yourself, not copy, resell or take it apart. Open-source parts keep their own licences (Profile → Privacy and about → Open-source licences).
9. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Profile. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after a warning when we can; you can ask us why and answer at support@sweekly.app.
10. Liability
During the beta Sweekly is free and given "as it is". We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it is always available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for losing game points. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, or our responsibility for harm we cause on purpose or by gross negligence.
11. Law and disputes
If there is a dispute, write to us first; most things are solved by email. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection the consumer law of the country you live in gives you, including going to your local courts.
12. Changes
When these terms change in a way that matters, the app shows the change and asks you to agree before you continue. If you do not agree, you can delete your account. A paid version, if it comes, will have its own terms that you see before paying.
